Sponsorship for KCBIA Events & Programs

The Downtown Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association (KCBIA) is a not-for-profit organization representing the interests of approximately 750 businesses and 350 commercial properties in the downtown core. The KCBIA collaborates with our members and community partners to execute events and campaigns that drive traffic to our members and showcase downtown as a vital part of our community as well as a great place to do business.

We build our brand as a reputable source of information to the public, a vital resource for our members, and a united voice of advocacy on key projects and interests to our members. We use marketing channels to reach our desired audiences with key messages and calls to action and to increase traffic and business ventures downtown.

The programs and events we organized are undertaken to promote #DowntownKamloops as a thriving community, a great place to do business, eat, shop, play and live! To successfully run our programs and events, we rely on various funding including grants, membership, and sponsorship. Sponsorship is a great way for businesses to demonstrate commitment to the community and build brand recognition.

Get ready to celebrate the vibrant spirit of downtown Kamloops as Springfest makes its triumphant return from May 9th to 12th, 2024!

This eagerly awaited event promises an exciting array of festivities, including electrifying live music performances, irresistible sales both in-store and on the sidewalk, thrilling giveaways, and late-night shopping adventures. From exploring local shops to indulging in delicious treats, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Mark your calendars and join us as we usher in the season with joy and community camaraderie.

The Vibe on Victoria: Live Session (formerly Artisans Alive) program was created to enhance downtown’s ambiance and vibrancy. These scheduled outdoor live music sessions enhance visitors’ experiences downtown while giving local performers the opportunity to showcase their talents to the community and further their dreams and aspirations. 

Merchants Market brings together retail stores, restaurants, coffee shops and more for the biggest sale of the Summer! Each day features massive merchant sidewalk sales, live music on the streets and more, including the Farmer’s Market, DTWN Night Market & Kamloops International Buskers Festival.

Brought to you in partnership by Downtown Kamloops and the Misfit Night Market, the DTWN Night Market is back to bring evening vibrancy to Victoria Street! Stop by and enjoy latenight shopping, vendors, entertainment, activities & variety of food options. The first DTWN Night Market took place in 2023 and saw over 6,000 people come downtown for an evening of fun for the whole family.

One of the most fabulous celebrations of the year, the annual Downtown Kamloops Santa Claus Parade warms the hearts of young and old regardless of temperature outside. The Santa Claus Parade takes place on the last Sunday in November each year. It is the City’s biggest outdoor celebration, attracting 25,000+ visitors to line the streets each year. This magical day is fully reliant on community sponsorship and volunteerism and is a great event for community-minded businesses to sponsor.
