Advocacy & Partnerships
Downtown Revitalization: From graffiti solutions to exploring improved lighting options, we are working with city officials and businesses to enhance the public realm.
Promotions & Marketing
Marketing Strategy Development: We're conducting a comprehensive review of our current strategy and researching best practices to craft an impactful marketing plan for 2025. This will help us ensure Downtown Kamloops remains a go-to destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Website Updates: We aim to enhance communication by improving website functionality and tracking member engagement. Updates will include improved login features for members and better access to key resources.
Events & Community Engagement
Event Audits: We’re standardizing methods to evaluate our events, ensuring they are relevant, impactful, and aligned with the diverse interests of our community.
Downtown Dialogues: These quarterly forums will begin in February, offering opportunities for members to discuss key issues and share insights with stakeholders.
Community Safety Forum: In March, we’ll host a session focusing on safety concerns and strategies to support a secure downtown environment.
Operations & Member Support
New Business Welcome Package: We're rolling out updated packages to welcome and onboard new businesses in our community. This initiative will include ribbon-cutting ceremonies and personalized visits to build stronger connections.
