Summer has arrived and we have the hottest lineup of events to keep you busy this June.

Dine Around Patios: May 26 – June 9

From May 26th to June 9th, 2024, kick-off patio season at 10+ local restaurants, for Dine Around – Patios. Savour the flavours, soak up the sun, and make it a getaway to remember by spending the night at a local hotel. Join us for memories that go beyond the plate! See the menus here.

CineLoops Film Festival: May 30 & 31

The CinéLoops French Film Festival, in collaboration with the Kamloops Francophone Association, returns! This year, the Kamloops Film Society is proud to present two captivating French-Canadian films, Testament and Ru.

Cheers Club Block Party: June 1st

Cheers Club Block Party returns to downtown on June 1st from 6pm-11pm. Enjoy live bands & DJs, artistic presentations, dance performances, BBQs, food trucks, and craft beer.

Hoops in the Loops: June 1st & 2nd

Royal Lepage’s Hoops in the Loops is proud to host its 4th Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser for KidSport. This 2 full-day 3 on 3 tournament will include both male and female divisions from Grades 4 to Professional Adults in teams of 3 or 4 players.

Far & Wide’s Birthday Party: June 7

Far & Wide turns Six and what better way to celebrate than with a birthday party?!

Joyfest: June 20th

JoyFest, a faith-filled family music festival, is set to return to Riverside Park’s Rotary Bandshell on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from noon to nine (12-9pm). This one-day summer extravaganza promises a day filled with joy, music, and wholesome family fun.

Nestled in the heart of Kamloops, Riverside Park will come alive with the sounds of talented local bands, vibrant family activities, and delicious food trucks. 

JoyFest offers an unparalleled opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the spirit of togetherness and positivity.

Queer Film Festival: June 20th – 22nd

The Kamloops Film Society, in partnership with Kamloops Pride, is excited to announce the first Kamloops Queer Film Festival! This June, we’re celebrating the start of Pride Season with a series of films by and about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Their goal for the first KQFF is to educate about and promote queer cinema.

International Yoga Day: June 21

June 21 is a special day, as it is IYD, Summer Solstice, AND National Indigenous People’s Day! This year’s event will be held downtown Kamloops at the Delta Hotel on their incredible Mountainview Terrace and poolside lounge. In partnership with Cordo Restaurant, lululemon, Saje, and local pop-up small shops.

The evening will include a fun all-levels yoga class, meditation , tapas (including a cheese spread as well as vegetarian & GF options) and wine (or non-alcoholic beverage). After the yoga practice, relax on the terrace or poolside lounge.

This event is open to ALL, regardless of yoga experience or physical ability. An opportunity to come together to practice yoga, enjoy delicious food and wine, and celebrate this special day!

– 6:00 pm Yoga & Meditation with Natalie Saari

– 7:15 pm Enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage and time to socialize and connect!
