Downtown Dialogues (formerly known as the Business Development Series) is an informal gathering that brings together local businesses and community members to discuss key issues affecting our area. In collaboration with Community Futures Thompson Country, Downtown Kamloops aims to foster business growth—one conversation at a time.
Our first session will feature Sandra Labbe, Crime Prevention Liaison with the City of Kamloops. Sandra will provide insights on how the city's crime prevention team can support businesses, covering topics such as:
~ Strategies to prevent shoplifting and robbery
~ Tips for recognizing and handling counterfeit currency
~ Techniques for identifying suspicious individuals
~ An introduction to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
